When you picture the island of Aruba, the first things that come to mind are likely beautiful white-sand beaches, crystalline Caribbean waters, Dutch colonial-style houses, and luxurious resort-casinos. You probably don’t think of steakhouses.
That’s about to change, as BLT Steak’s parent company, ESquared Hospitality, announced today that it plans to open an outpost of the acclaimed restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton, Aruba this summer.

“Aruba is home to a vibrant, growing food culture and is a natural addition to our portfolio,” says Keith Treyball, President of ESquared Hospitality. “BLT Steak Aruba will offer guests the unparalleled BLT experience with a Caribbean accent, infusing regional culture into our menu through use of the restaurant’s seasonal blackboard menus, highlighting items from local snapper to Caribbean lobster, wherever possible.”
The restaurant—which is taking over the beachfront space of the soon-to-shutter, Les Crustacés—will also have a raw bar, plus the brand’s signature warm popovers, choice steaks, and robust wine list.
After topping off a meal with a warm crêpe soufflé or peanut butter chocolate mousse, guests can mosey on down to the resort’s casino and try their hand at blackjack—in typical Aruba fashion.
