Australia is the place to be these days.

They put GoPros on their macaws, they've got rare white whales popping up all over the place, and now a group of snorkelers got face-to-face with a humpback whale off the country's western coast.

It was the whale that made the first move, swimming up to get a good look at the group. Two more whales followed suit (not included in the video below). Here's video of the experience:
