Pope Francis spent some time meeting and greeting with a group of incredibly happy-looking dogs outside the Vatican in St. Peter's Square on Wednesday.

One of the grinning dogs was held up behind the pope, resulting a pretty amazing photobomb, according to Metro.

The dogs were part of a training group that was in the area taking in the sights.

Consider this proof that even the most powerful spiritual figures can't resist the warm fuzzy feelings that come with spending a few minutes playing with a dog.

And this isn't even the first time Pope Francis got to hang out with dogs this year. In June, he met with search and rescue dogs, according to ABC News:

Maybe all dogs do go to heaven.
