Traveling can be ruff.

One of the best parts of traveling is arriving at a destination to find a friendly face. At one hotel in Australia, the concierge's face is so friendly you’ll want to take them home with you.

Back in July, the Park Hyatt Melbourne recruited their first canine ambassador: an adorable labrador called Mr. Walker. The 18-month-old former guide dog for Guide Dogs Victoria has since taken on several duties around the hotel.

Mr. Walker’s daily routine includes greeting guests on arrival, attending client meetings, and walking guests around the grounds — by request.

When he’s not busy around the hotel being a very good boy, he’s resting in his dog bed (or sometimes “doing yoga” by the pool, as seen on Instagram).

Park Hyatt hotels have dog ambassadors at other properties as well — the Park Hyatt Chicago got their own dog concierge named Parker the Pug.

He’s very good at attending luggage. Even on his birthday.

Both Parker and Mr. Walker are ambassadors for Guide Dogs Victoria, which provides vital support to enable Victorians with low vision or blindness to live independently and achieve their goals in life.

To see more information on Mr. Walker, you can check out his page on the Park Hyatt website or follow the hotel’s Instagram.
