The holidays aren't for everyone, and that includes animals.

A rogue beaver was spotted strolling into a Dollar Store in St. Mary's County, Maryland this week.

According to the local sheriff, the animal was safely captured—but not before trashing a display of artificial Christmas trees.

A statement from the sheriff's office shared that the “suspect attempted to flee the area” before animal control caught the rampant tree-trasher.

Anyone who could do without the stressful outing that is holiday shopping can consider this their new spirit animal.
