Even bears enjoy the beach.

A family of black bears had some fun at Lake Tahoe this week, splashing and swimming and completely ignoring the many vacationers in their midst.

Pallas Buckley shared the video with KCRA 3:

Black bears, of which there are an estimated 25,000-30,000 in California, mostly avoid humans but do make forays into civilization.

And Tahoe bears know how to have fun: Last month, another bear family (or was it the same one?) ransacked a home in South Lake Tahoe and stole pies from the fridge, according to CBS Sacramento.
