Or get a cheap fare in their new business class from $271.
Iceland-based budget airline WOW Air introduced new airfare classes on Tuesday that offer premium options for a not-quite-as-budget price.
Travelers flying WOW Air now choose between WOW Basic, which includes the flight and only one personal item (as in a backpack that fits under the seat in front of you); WOW Plus, which also includes a carry-on, checked bag, and cancelation protection; and WOW Biz, which includes a larger seat, priority boarding, and an in-flight meal. Extra legroom available to WOW Biz fares will depend on the aircraft model.
“We have worked hard to lower the prices of airfare to Iceland and across the Atlantic to give more people the opportunity to travel,” Skuli Mogensen, CEO of WOW Air, said in a statement. “With our new package offerings, we look to provide business travelers with many of the same services they're used to on legacy carriers at a much more affordable price.”
In addition to the new airfares, the airline also announced a flight sale for travel from several U.S. cities to Iceland from February 10 to June 10. Use code WOWSALE and book before February 12.
