Your last day of vacation should actually feel like a vacation. But more often than not, you precious final day of freedom is filled with long security lines, check-ins, check-outs, and battling it out with other travelers at the airport before you finally get to your flight.

But Virgin Holidays has announced plans to cut through the chaos for at least some vacationers by building a private departure lounge on Brownes Beach, in Barbados, for customers to spend their time before they fly.

Departure Beach, which officially opens May 2018, will have transfers from your hotel to the beach to the airport — provided that your departure is from Barbados, of course.

The beach lounge includes transportation, complimentary lunch and soft drinks, a bag drop for your checked luggage, a locker for your carry-on, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a full shower and changing facility so you’re not all sandy on your flight.

It costs £20 ($25.50) for adults and £15 ($19) for children.

Entrance to the Departure Beach is complimentary for guests staying at Savannah Beach in Barbados, and Virgin Holidays cruise customers whose itinerary terminates in Barbados, according to the Virgin Holidays website.

When you’re not working on your tan, you can also enjoy an air-conditioned indoor lounge with a kids area equipped with gaming consoles and TV screens.

Now if they could only figure out putting the entire terminal at the beach.
