In early April, the airline created United-themed Zoom backgrounds free for anyone to use to assist people in taking to the friendly skies once again from the comfort of their own couch. “Calling all AvGeeks and travelers! Here's a fun way to take your next video call from a United Polaris seat, the cockpit or cruising altitude,” United said in a blog post. “We're introducing United-themed backgrounds for use on Zoom, a video conferencing tool that many people are using to stay connected.” Courtesy of United Airlines The backgrounds are super easy to use as well. As United explained, all you need to do is download the Zoom app to either your computer or mobile device. Then, download your favorite United image to either your computer or mobile device. (Just click "download" in the bottom left corner of the image in the blog post.) Select "choose virtual background" to upload your United photo and voila, you’re in the air once again, even during your regular morning work meetings. Want even more aviation fun?
