United Airlines is here to help fill the travel void during quarantine.

In early April, the airline created United-themed Zoom backgrounds free for anyone to use to assist people in taking to the friendly skies once again from the comfort of their own couch.

“Calling all AvGeeks and travelers! Here's a fun way to take your next video call from a United Polaris seat, the cockpit or cruising altitude,” United said in a blog post. “We're introducing United-themed backgrounds for use on Zoom, a video conferencing tool that many people are using to stay connected.”

The backgrounds are super easy to use as well. As United explained, all you need to do is download the Zoom app to either your computer or mobile device.

Then, download your favorite United image to either your computer or mobile device. (Just click "download" in the bottom left corner of the image in the blog post.)

Now, open the Zoom app, and click the arrow on the side of your video camera icon in the bottom of the screen. Select "choose virtual background" to upload your United photo and voila, you’re in the air once again, even during your regular morning work meetings.

And, if you want to keep your travel-themed zooms going you can with backgrounds from photography great Gray Malin, who created free virtual zoom backgrounds from destinations like Italy, the French Riviera, Sydney, and more. Or, choose a few from Onefinestay, who released images from some of its most stunning hotels around the world as well. Who knows, maybe these backgrounds will inspire your first trip after this is all over.
