These First Class Suites Are Like Luxury Hotel Rooms in the Sky
Double beds and swivel chairs are just the beginning.
Singapore Airlines, the World’s Best airline for 22 years in a row, recently unveiled its new first class suites for the Airbus A380 — and the design is impeccably luxurious.
The suites, which will be on the aircraft's upper deck, feature sliding doors for total privacy, beds fit for a hotel room, customizable lighting, and reclining leather seats. This is the first major update of Singapore's first class in 10 years.

While each of the aircraft's six suites includes a twin bed, those with the means can reserve two adjoining suites and enjoy a double bed.
The interiors are upholstered with leather by Poltrona Frau. There's also a full-sized wardrobe and additional storage compartments for passengers.
There are two lavatories in first class, one with a vanity counter and Lalique toiletry products. On select flights, first class passengers will also get amenity kits with lip balm, face moisturizer, aftershave balm, and more.
When it comes to food, fliers will be treated to meals created by the airline’s International Culinary Panel, with dishes like shrimp laksa and lobster served on Lalique crystal glassware.
For entertainment, Singapore Airlines’ KrisWorld entertainment system lets passengers select what they want to watch beforehand through the SingaporeAir app, or bookmark and resume content from wherever they left off.
