Priority Pass members can now get added benefits as part of the membership program.

The program, which grants its members access to over 1,000 airport lounges across the world, is now incorporating additional discounts, upgrades, and free gifts across a variety of airports as part of its offerings.

The new offers will be available across 146 different airports in 32 countries within North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

Members can access the new offers, which will be available at dining, spa, retail and airport services, both through Priority Pass’ website and mobile app.

Once a member logs in on either platform, a search for the departure or arrival airport will reveal live offers available at each location.

From there, users can generate a QR code for the applicable discounts they can then present on their phone to receive once at the airport.

The offers vary with retailers like Duty Free Americas, InMotion Entertainment, XpressSpa and Jabbrrbox.

Some example offers include 10 percent off of purchases of $80 or more at Touch of Color, a boutique at Newark Liberty International Airport, and 10 percent off of purchases at Pink, Emporio Armani, or Montblanc at the Miami International Airport.

Priority Pass decided to include the new offers after a 2016 study conducted by Collinson found that discounts in certain categories would be a reason for travelers to arrive earlier at airports.

Almost half of respondents (47 percent) said they would spend more time at airports if they received deals in advance of their travels, while 41 percent said they would arrive earlier to airports for food and beverage discounts and 39 percent said they would arrive earlier for shopping discounts.

The report was based on responses from 2,095 respondents across the U.S., U.K., Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates.

Travelers will want to note that a Priority Pass membership is necessary to redeem the offers, with memberships purchased directly from the company starting at $99. Passengers can also get a Priority Pass membership when signing up with certain credit cards.
