A pilot onboard a recent United flight banned all political talk from his cabin after a Trump supporter got in an argument with the passenger sitting next to him.

The captain got on the loudspeaker and implored passengers to refrain from political arguments because “we’re going to be in a metal tube at 35,000 feet.”

The three-hour flight from San Francisco to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico took off without any further incidents.

The fight between a Trump supporter and the African American woman sitting next to him broke out when, according to the video description, he made a racist remark about being “glad to have kept his guns.” The two were separated and the pilot got on the loudspeaker to ask passengers to remain civil and “respect each other’s decisions.”

“I understand that everybody has their opinions. That’s fine. If you support him, great. If you don’t, I understand,” he said, referring to Donald Trump’s victory.

“There is another flight tomorrow,” the pilot warned passengers who did not agree. But everybody on the plane cheered and supported the pilot’s speech.

United confirmed that there was an argument onboard the flight, but did not comment on whether or not it was political.

"Our pilot worked to diffuse an argument between customers and worked to get the flight safely to its destination," a United spokesperson said in a statement.
