A flight attendant was injured after falling from a rear airplane door at the Zhengzhou airport in China on Friday.

Airport surveillance footage shows the attendant for Xiamen Air falling out of the door in an apparent accident, the South China Morning Post reported.

The airline posted a statement on the social networking site Weibo saying the flight attendant suffered a broken collarbone and was taken to a nearby hospital for surgery.

According to Boeing, the rear door is about 10 feet off the ground, give or take a couple inches based on how much weight the plane is carrying.

This is, oddly, the second time a flight attendant has been injured falling out of an airplane in the past month. A China Eastern flight attendant broke several bones when she fell while trying to close a rear door ahead of takeoff.
