Day 1: Arrive in Beijing

Upon arrival, transfer via private car to your hotel.

Stay: Rosewood Beijing

Day 2: Beijing

Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, with special access to the Shufangzhai Palace. Later, take a walking tour of Beijing's hutongs, traditional narrow alleys.

Day 3: Great Wall

Visit a section of the Great Wall, touring it with a conservation specialist and enjoying a special banquet lunch.

Day 4: Beijing

Visit the Panjiayuan Market and the Imperial Summer Palace. In the evening, take a closed-door nighttime tour of the Temple of Heaven.

Days 5-6: Xi'an

Head to the airport and fly into Xi'an, where you will be met by a private driver to transfer you to your hotel. The next day, visit the famous Terracotta Warriors and tour the old City Wall and Grand Mosque. In the afternoon, enjoy a private dumpling-making lesson

Stay: Sofitel Legend Hotel

Days 7-8: Guilin

In the morning, visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum to explore the Guilin Tang Murals restoration room with an expert. Then, fly to Guilin where you will be transfered to your hotel. The next day, sail the Li River on a bamboo raft before taking a cultural tour of village life.

Stay: Banyan Tree Yangshuo

Days 9-10: Hangzhou

Fly into Hangzhou and transfer to your hotel. The next morning, take a private tai chi lesson before embarking on a private gondola ride on West Lake. Later, tour the city's Buddhist Temple District before seeing the spectacular show "Enduring Memories of Hangzhou."

Stay: Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou At West Lake

Days 11-14: Shanghai

Tour the tea fields around Hangzhou before departing for Shanghai. The next day, take an architectural history tour of the French Concession with an expert, before heading out with a personal shopper. On your third day in town, tour the Zhujiajiao Water Town neighborhood, Yu Garden, and the Old City. On your last full day, take a tour in a vintage motorcycle sidecar, as a Chinese art expert teaches you about the city's contemporary art scene.

Stay: Capella Shanghai, Jian Ye Li 

Days 15-18: Hong Kong

Fly to Hong Kong, where you will be staying at the trendy Upper House hotel. On your first full day in Hong Kong, take a helicopter tour over the Hong Kong Skyline, visiting Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Harbor, and Wong Tai Sin temple. The next day, tour Lantau Island, as well as Tai O and the Tian Tan Buddha. The last day, take a walking tour of the city, visiting Barrier Gate, the A-Ma Temple, St. Paul's Cathedral, and Senado Square.

Stay: Upper House

Day 19: Depart from Hong Kong

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
