A 24-day whirlwind trip through Brazil began with a private float plane journey into the heart of the Amazon jungle that features a flyover the “Meeting of the Waters” natural phenomenon. The guests then spent the next several days taking in the flora and fauna of the rainforest by foot, canoe, or boat with their private guide. The group next headed to Salvador de Bahia where they experienced the region’s cultural highlights, including a private capoeira class to learn about the acrobatic martial art. After a stop in Rio, they continued to Iguazu Falls, and ended their time in Brazil in the Pantanal wetlands. Burgio works with esteemed resorts such as Pacuare Lodge, in Costa Rica, as well as local tour operators, to offer interactive programs with Indigenous communities. "For our sailing adventures in Panama’s San Blas Islands, we hand select catamarans based on client’s needs from our partner San Blas Sailing, which employs crew from the local Guna community," he says. "The Guna people maintain one of the most well-preserved indigenous cultures in all of Latin America. A very high level of overall satisfaction – we're already planning a return to 6 Senses to make up for the time we cut short. No grand touring – just wallowing in the luxury of it all. I give high praise to everybody who looked after us. First class all around." - Hal M. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
