Day 1: Cape Town

After arrival in Cape Town, you will be met at your private PC12 aircraft by your local host (who will remain with you throughout your travels) to ensure that that all of the logistics are well taken care of and every single experience is catered to your needs. This afternoon you’ll enjoy a helicopter flight over Cape Town, which follows an exhilarating path along the Atlantic Seaboard to the white sands of Clifton, then along the splendid Twelve Apostles and rugged beauty of Llandudno. The exclusive trip will also take you over the Republic of Hout Bay, offering a magnificent view of Seal Island. Your flight continues over the heart-stopping curves of Chapman’s Peak, the extensive lagoon laced stretches of Noordhoek, along Muizenberg and past the lush Constantia Valley.

Day 2: Cape Town

Today, you’ll enjoy a private city and cape peninsula touring experience, including a special epicurean roadside picnic experience. At the end of the day, you’ll retreat back to Ellerman House and enjoy cocktails and canapés. Look forward to a South African wine tasting and Ellerman House’s famous South African craft gin trolley.

Day 3: Cape Town

Celebrate a South Africa tradition of participating in a braai (barbecue) with Jan Braai. Day 4: Cape Town

It’s wine tasting day and with hundreds of impressive farms and estates to choose from, guests are spoled for choice and may need guidance when it comes to where best to do your tasting. Day 5: Duba Plains Private Reserve

This morning you will depart Ellerman House via private transfer to the Cape Town airport, where you will be met by your pilot before boarding your private PC12 charter to Botswana. After clearing international customs en route, you will land and be met by your private butler, chef, game drive vehicle, and guide at Duba Plains Camp — Botswana’s Okavango Relais & Chateaux based safari camp. This evening, you will enjoy a mystical nighttime game drive in the African bush where you will indulge in a wealth of nocturnal wildlife. In celebration of your arrival in Botswana, enjoy a glass of wine, specially chosen for you, under the Africa night sky after a wonderful evening of animal sightings in the wild.

Day 6: Duba Plains Private Reserve

Many consider this region of Botswana to be the Okavango Delta’s Maasai Mara because of the sheer volume of wildlife. Today we recommend a horseback-riding safari through the untouched grasslands where guests can look forward to viewing commonly spotted species including hippo, blue wildebeest, hyena, giraffe, elephant, lechwe, buffalo, tsessebe, warthog, and over 200 species of bird. There is simply no other safari experience on offer like what is available in the Okavango Delta.

Day 7: Duba Plains Private Reserve

After your morning game drive and private bush breakfast, you will experience and an unforgettable scenic flight over the Okavango Delta via this unique excursion that only a helicopter can afford. You’ll also partake in the “Life with Elephants” cultural village tour with the opportunity to hand out solar lanterns to local school children bringing them the Gift of Light. You’ll return to the confines of your Duba Plains Suite — an intimate, two-room exquisite tented villa, complete with a private veranda and swimming pool. It offers guests amazing views of the surrounding floodplain and the steady stream of wildlife parading past.

Day 8: Selinda Reserve

Depart Duba Plains with your PC12 for the Selinda Reserve where you will be met by your private butler, chef, game drive vehicle, and guide. Sandwiched between the Savute Channel, Chobe National Park, and the sensational Okavango Delta, this sanctuary is well off the beaten track and offers visitors an exclusive wildlife-viewing experience. This varied landscape hosts a wide selection of species in diverse habitats. The reserve is home to some of the classic species, such as leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, Red lechwe, zebra and giraffe. It's also a refuge for more uncommon species such as African wild dog, cheetah, roan, and sable.

Day 9: Selinda Reserve

On this morning’s game drive, you will enjoy a private photography lesson with your guide before heading out into the bush to test your newly acquired skills. Spot an array of magnificent of wildlife such as the rare roan and sable antelopes, lion, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, African wild dog, and large elephant herds. Upon your return to camp, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast that will make you feel like you are the King or Queen of the jungle.  This afternoon, you will experience life from the water on a private boat safari which displays the region's amazing birdlife as well as large herds of hippo.

Day 10: Selinda Reserve

Time to get your heart pumping and set out with your guide on a walking safari. You’ll then experience what it’s like to be “one with the animals,” on this 130,000-hectare private concession. This afternoon, take time to enjoy your Dhow Suite — a 2,260-square-foot tented villa set under a flowing canvas with canopy ceilings and completely open (yet netted) sides. Entering through the heavy wood Lamu door will transport you to a lavish space of deep reds, browns, brass, and copper. Central to the Dhow Suites is a full lounge and dining area with two identical bedrooms off either side of the main area. A large deck fronts the suites with a swimming pool and views of the pristine Botswana wilderness.

Day 11: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Continue your travels on your PC12 to Victoria Falls and overnight at Zimbabwe’s first and only Relais and Chateaux property, Mpala Jena. You’ll be escorted to you private two-bedroom suite located on a private concession within the Zambezi National Park. Your suite features your own private butler, chef, game drive vehicle, and guide. Overlooking a beautiful stretch of the Zambezi River shoreline, the suite has been elegantly positioned under the dappled shade of a mixture of indigenous trees. The entire suite is under a beige-colored flowing canvas with canopy ceilings and open (yet netted) views of the river frontage with Moroccan style influences throughout the decor. The property is conveniently located inside Zambezi National Park, which makes for easy access to Victoria Falls, but is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to allow guests to relax and enjoy the wild habitat of the park.

Day 12: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Experience the "Flight of Angels" perspective first hand by private helicopter. The term "Flight of the Angels" was originally coined by explorer David Livingstone when he first wrote about the area surrounding the falls, saying it was, "A sight so wonderful that angels must have gazed down on it in flight." A trip up the Zambezi River and back over Zambezi National Park completes your flight before enjoying an interactive tour of the Victoria Falls with your private guide. Afterward, it’s time for some curio shopping before you head to an iconic landmark in town, the Victoria Falls Hotel, for lunch along its famous veranda. You’ll then return to Mpala Jena for relaxing spa treatments along the Zambezi.

Day 13 : Chyulu Hills National Park

Board your PC12 and continue your travels onto Kenya and overnight at Ol Donyo Lodge in the Chyulu Hills Amboseli region, one of Kenya’s only two Relais & Chateaux properties. With spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, this 16-bed lodge is a harmonious blend of contemporary and rustic, merging the landscape into each suite. Tonight, enjoy the creature comforts of fine dining, a massage, a dip in the infinity pool, star beds, and multiple lounges. Ol Donyo is a place to relax and unwind for days.

Day 14: Chyulu Hills National Park

Day 15: Chyulu Hills National Park

Time to relax and enjoy the safari opportunities on offer at the Maasai-owned Mbirikani Group Ranch, comprising 275,000 acres of wilderness. Commonly spotted wildlife include elephant, bushbuck, eland, leopard, bush pig, reedbuck, buffalo, and giraffe. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the longest lava tube in the world.

Day 16 : Olare Motorogi Conservancy

Depart Ol Donyo Lodge with your PC12 for the Masaai Mara and overnight at one of Kenya’s only two Relais & Chateaux properties, Mara Plains Camp. Mara Plains Camp is a one of a kind, seven-tent camp located in the private 35,000-acre Olare Motorogi Conservancy, on the northern boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This intimate tented camp blends the finest wildlife viewing with outstanding hospitality and guiding. Day 17: Olare Motorogi Conservancy

Fly over parts of the vast Masai Mara plain in a hot air balloon, seeing the magnificent wildlife below. Once you’ve landed, a breakfast will be set up and served for you in the middle of the park. You can enjoy a glass of champagne while the table is prepared and the eggs and sausages are cooked for you. Sitting on a camp stool, tucking into breakfast and watching the birds soar overhead is a magical experience. After breakfast, you climb into your safari vehicle and enjoy a game drive back to camp.

Day 18: Olare Motorogi Conservancy

Today, by day and night, the camp is a sanctuary for resident species, including many of the Maasai Mara’s 300 bird species. After dark, larger mammals frequent the camp and Maasai warriors escort guests to and from their rooms. Hippos snorting and leopards barking often provide the night’s chorus. The camp itself has only seven tents, each with deep canvas canopied ceilings, rough-hewn wood floors, and accents of East Africa’s rich safari history.

Day 19: Depart the Maasai Mara

Reluctantly say goodbye to Africa and depart the Maasai Mara for Nairobi to connect to your international flight home. Your  memory book will be full of the friendships you made and the experiences you had in one of the world’s most remarkable continents.
