So what if the euro is up and the dollar is down?That doesn’t mean you should skip a trip to Europe. You can still find great deals, even in pricey places. In Paris, the secret is simple: knowing where the bargains are. For example, Louvre is free on the first Sunday of the month. So are the Musée d’Orsay, Pompidou, Picasso Museum, Rodin Museum, Orangerie, the medieval collections in the ancient Roman Thermes de Cluny, and many others. From November to March, the lavish palace of Versailles is free that first Sunday as well, as is the Arc de Triomphe, the towers of Notre-Dame, and the Panthéon.
