Los Angeles' architectural gems, rows of palm trees, glimmering urban installations, and rolling coastlines are the highlights in a new panoramic video.

Photographer and filmmaker Joe Capra, also known as Scientifantastic, spent two years capturing footage of the city, stitching together each frame to create a mesmerizing timelapse.

Titled “Pano LA,” the six-minute film weaves viewers through iconic sights like the Griffith Observatory and the shimmering buildings of Downtown Los Angeles.

“Shooting Pano LA has been the most ambitious, challenging, demanding, and rewarding project I have worked on to date,” said Capra in the description he posted of the video on Vimeo. He shot the eye-catching footage using two synced DSLR cameras side by side.

Thanks to the technique, Capra was able to capture magnificent wide-aspect shots stretching over sights like the Santa Monica Pier.
