Taiwan is a fascinating island that is worth more than just a news story on the curious traveler’s radar.
The travel blog Face du Monde made a short video documenting a two-week trip across Taiwan. From the island’s impressive pagodas to its natural hot springs, there is no shortage of things to do on the island’s nearly 14,000 square miles.
To the north, Taipei buzzes with the infectious rhythm of an Asian city. After navigating the controlled chaos of the streets, travelers can sample Taiwanese delicacies like dumplings, fried chicken and scallion pancakes. While in the capital, visitors should check out Taipei 101, which was the tallest skyscraper in the world until 2007.
