Sounds like a win-win to us.

For those lucky enough to get there, Tahiti is one of the most magical places on Earth. For years the French Polynesian islands have inspired those who make it down to their sandy shores. However actually getting there often comes with a hefty price tag.

But for travelers who have always wanted to visit Tahiti, but lack the financial resources to do so, the tourism board is offering families and couples a free trip to paradise — if they agree to star in a promo for the islands.

The winners of the “casting call” will star in a promo video series entitled “Two Stories/One Mana.” The premise of the campaign is that couples visit the island together, but have two vastly different experiences. While in Tahiti, they partake in separate activities like scuba diving, horseback riding, hiking, swimming, and dancing to be “embraced by Mana.”

In Tahitian culture, Mana is “the life force and spirit that surrounds and connects all living things,” according to the campaign. And even though couples may be apart, they’ll be connected by the island spirit.

In order to be considered for the free trip, contestants must grab their partner and make a 15-second video explaining what they “would find inspiring about The Islands of Tahiti” and their “top three favorite Tahiti activities.”

The deadline for submissions is April 5. Winners will travel down to Tahiti for their prize trip in June.
