Disney’s newest theme park, Pandora – the World of Avatar, opens to the public on May 27.

As with any Disney opening, we wanted to know: What are the rides like? For a company known for their incredible attention to detail, technological savvy, and family friendly approach, it’s safe to say that this is one of their most anticipated creations yet.

The new park has two rides: the Na’Vi River Journey and the Flight of Passage. While we’ll have to get back to you on what it was like to ride the latter, we have some front-seat footage from the former.

Some of the River Journey's highlights include creatures so realistic it's hard to believe they're animated, a towering Shaman playing the drums, and surreal wildlife surrounding you every inch of the way. This is something you have to see in person ot believe.

If you were looking for a little break in your day, you’ve found it. Check out the video above and take a ride on Pandora – the World of Avatar’s Na’Vi River Journey without even leaving your seat.
