This is Halloween. This is Halloween.
If you’re looking for festive, Halloween fun, look no further than Disney World. The Magic Kingdom is rearing and ready to go to transform the park from it’s summertime splendor into a spooky — but not-so-scary — autumn village.
A timelapse video shows the Disney World crew hard at work after the park closes. Filling every block of the park with autumnal wreaths decorated with Mickey’s face, dressing up characters in orange, green, and purple Halloween costumes, and peppering the park with pumpkins.
And we mean lots and lots of pumpkins.
The lighting and special effects crews especially get in on the fun by decking out several installations throughout the park with flickering lights and spooky fog. Even Cinderella’s Castle looks extra ghostly for the season.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place every day inside the park from August 25 through November 1. Guests can enjoy Halloween themed events, shows, park goodies and plenty of Halloween snacks throughout the Halloween season.
