Uber drivers, like taxi drivers, have a front seat to observing all humanity has to offer.

On a recent Reddit thread, drivers shared stories about memorable run-ins and confessions from passengers.

Cheating seems to be a common theme.

“Picked up a drunk guy on St. Patrick's day. He was talking about his boyfriend, and asked me if he should break up with him,” wrote Spicymark. “He then proceeded to tell me about the two dudes he was going to cheat on his boyfriend with that night.”

Another driver looking to do a good deed and return a phone was in for a surprise.

“I picked up this young overly affectionate couple that spent the entire trip making out in my backseat and telling each other that they loved each other,” wrote user YetiPie. “When I drop off the couple and head on my way to pick up my next fare, I hear a cellphone ring in my backseat, realize it's my previous ride's, and pick up the phone to let them know I have it and I'll come back to drop it off. Turns out it was the guy's wife phoning to check in on him while he was on a business trip, which he was thoroughly enjoying with his mistress.”

Of course it doesn't stop at cheating.

“I met a guy who owns a dispensary in Colorado, but lives in my state. He was drunk,” wrote Rexminimus. “He told me all about cheating on his wife with his girlfriend. His girlfriend got mad when he decided to go back to his wife. So this guy apparently would bring carry-on bags filled with shatter (a marijuana concentrate) back from Colorado. The angry girlfriend knew about this and ratted him out to the police.”

This should all serve as a reminder to behave yourself next time you're in an Uber — unless you want to give the driver a great story.
