Where the pop star-turned-entrepreneur has traveled recently, and how you can have your own A-list experience there.

Over the past few years, Beyoncé and her family have traveled to Italy, Cuba, and other far-flung places—and she's given us a glimpse of her escapades through social media. Here, a list of the recent places she's visited, and how to have your own A-list vacation there.

Costa Rica

We all know that Beyoncé loves a good adventure. She and Jay Z have vacationed twice in Costa Rica—which is a great place to go for romance and nature—throughout the past few years, once in 2013 for a family vacation and again in 2014 to celebrate Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland's wedding. During their first trip, Beyoncé and Jay Z stayed in the luxurious Peninsula Papagayo area. They have also visited the Nicoya Peninsula, as well as the gorgeous La Fortuna area, which is known for its relaxing hot springs.

Sardinia, Italy

Beyoncé spent her 34th birthday basking under the Mediterranean sun on a lavish vacation in Sardinia, Italy, with her family last year. The Italian island is known for its beautiful splendor, pristine white sand beaches, and its ancient culture and traditions. Sardinia has a long and storied history, with several UNESCO World Heritage sites, so it's ideal for both beach lovers and history buffs.

Cuba

Who can forget the Carters' infamous wedding anniversary trip to Cuba in 2013? At the time, the couple was under fire due to allegations of human rights abuses in the communist country. Now, things have completely changed since President Obama eased the ban on traveling to the island nation. You, too, can experience the food, music, and landscapes of Cuba like the Carters: On their visit to the capital city of Havana, they dined with their mothers at La Guarida restaurant, checked out the sights, and stopped by El Gato Tuerto, a famous nightclub.

Haiti

In May 2015, Beyoncé used her attention-grabbing abilities to highlight Haiti, which is still recovering from the devastating earthquake in 2010. During her visit, the global icon visited Saint Damien Pediatric Hospital in Tabarre, the only children's hospital in Haiti, as part of a United Nations humanitarian effort. Since then, there has been much development in the Caribbean island, including the recent opening of the Marriott Port Au Prince

Barcelona, Spain

Beyoncé and Jay, with Blue Ivy in tow, visited Barcelona in March 2014. The famous family was spotted visiting local sites such as La Sagrada Familia and leaving Windsor, an upscale restaurant. There are many reasons to take a Barcelona vacation of your own: this year marks the 90th anniversary of Antoni Gaudi's death, the architect whose work—including the Sagrada Familia—has defined this city.

The Hotel Arts Barcelona is a great place to stay for celebrity treatment. It is located right on the beach, and its penthouse apartments have private balconies with panoramic views. The hotel will open a new infinity pool this year—ideal for Instagram selfies a la Bey's poolside shot in 2014.

New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is a Knowles family favorite—Beyoncé made headlines when she chose the city as the setting for her "Formation" video, and her sister Solange had her wedding here. And if you've ever visited, you know that it has an incredible wealth of entertainment and dining options. Whether you're taking in a Saints game, visiting for Mardi Gras, experiencing the magic of Bourbon Street, or spending a day eating po'boys and crawfish, New Orleans has something for everyone.
