And they match her jacket, of course.
If you’re going to take airport style advice from anyone, it might as well be supermodel Heidi Klum.
The German stunner is constantly photographed entering and leaving airports around the globe and she always (and we mean always) looks chic. One thing you’ll never see her wearing: Pajamas.
Klum, like many of her fellow celebrity travelers, always looks sleek and cool when arriving and departing. But looking this style-savvy doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice comfort.
Take, for example, Klum’s latest airport look. In Early September, the “America’s Got Talent” judge was seen exiting LAX in pure rockstar attire: dark-wash denim, a suede jacket, matching booties, and a graphic tee.
Let’s break it down.
Klum’s simple suede moto jacket works perfectly as a layering piece for traveling from climate to climate and is easy to stow away if your plane is a little too hot for comfort. Better yet, you can snag a similar style for just $188.
Under her killer coat, Klum wore a black T-shirt with a giant leopard emblazoned on the front, which helped pull in the neutral tones of her other accessories. But you can get a similar look with a clean black T-shirt from places like Topshop for just $20.
Klum also rocked a pair of dark denim skinny jeans, though we recommend you grab a pair with plenty of stretch as anything tight and unforgiving will be incredibly uncomfortable, even on short flights. These high-waisted skinnies from H&M should do the trick as they are made from 63-percent cotton and 4-percent spandex, providing just the right amount of give.
For shoes, Klum went simple but expensive with a pair of Givenchy Buckle Booties. Sure, these shoes cost a cool $1,395, but honestly, they may be worth the investment as they will keep you looking like a star for seasons to come. That and the low-heel profile paired with the ankle support will actually keep you comfortable while running through an airport to catch a flight.
Finally, Klum topped her look with a pair of mirrored aviators, which for obvious reasons are perfect for flying (they are pilot-inspired, after all). Her rose gold pair gives this classic look an updated feel, which you can also pick up from Bloomingdale's for a mere $60.
