What better way to celebrate?

In honor of National Cheeseburger Day, this Sunday Delta will be serving Shake Shack burgers to some Delta One business class customers in a partnership with the burger chain.

The complimentary cheeseburgers will be available to customers flying Delta One on select flights from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport to California's Los Angeles International Airport.

National Cheeseburger Day—not to be confused with National Burger Day—is of uncertain provenance, but that isn't stopping restaurants (and even airlines) from celebrating.

Delta will also give all customers flying from JFK to LAX on September 18 free vouchers for a complimentary burger at Los Angeles' Shake Shack location, which recently opened in West Hollywood.

The event is part of a larger partnership the airline has with Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group, which has created several menu options for Delta's business class passengers.
