There's nothing like a fresh coat of paint on a brand new aircraft.

Airbus recorded its crews painting the first A350-1000 test aircraft, which was just rolled out and will take its first flight later this year, according to the company.

“Take a look inside Airbus’ Toulouse, France paint shop as the first A350-1000 version receives its ‘colours,’’ Airbus wrote about the video. “The A350-1000 is the longest-fuselage member of the highly efficient A350 XWB widebody product line.”

The A350-1000 is a bit larger than the A350-900, which is flown by carriers including Cathay Pacific, Singapore, and Qatar Airways.

There will be more to marvel at once the interiors are completed: Among its many amenities, the A350-1000 will have a “super business class,” with sliding doors and even double beds available in some configurations.
