On an Austrian Airlines flight to Athens last week, a couple not only got engaged but then proceeded to hold the wedding ceremony right there on the plane.

Jürgen Bogne planned the entire proposal and ceremony with help from his now-wife's best friend. He managed to hide family members at the back of the airplane so they would be able to join in the mid-flight festivities.

Nathaly Eiche had no idea what was going on until the passengers in front of her begansinging Bruno Mars' “Marry You.” It was then that Bogne proposed, revealing the true intent of the vacation—not a quick getaway like Eiche had thought, but a honeymoon.

At that point, their families joined them and the real celebration began.

After changing into a wedding dress, Eiche's father walked her down the aisle—really, behind her as we all know airplanes are not known for their excess of room. Passengers partook in a champagne toast to the newlyweds and the couple took a trip to the cockpit to meet the pilot and first officer.
