Ina Garten is by far the fanciest chef around. Garten, better known as the Barefoot Contessa, is well-known for her over-the-top dinner events that she hosts at her Hamptons home alongside her husband, Jeffrey.

And, as Garten recently revealed to the Today show, she’s more than happy to continue living her fancy lifestyle. (Her favorite foods are Pear clafoutis and swordfish curry, and if you know what either of those things are without looking them up, then good for you.)

But, she is still human, so loves to dig into something a little less extravagant now and again. She even sometimes — gasp — eats fast food.

“I have to say, I don't eat fast food at all, with one exception,” Garten confessed on Today. “When we're in California doing book tours, we always have to go to In-N-Out Burger.”

Garten isn’t the only chef to have a true love for In-N-Out’s burgers. According to Delish, famed chef Julia Child loved the burger chain so much that she kept a list of the fast food restaurant’s locations in her pocketbook at all times.

“It's so good, and I know it was Julia Child's favorite, too, so it's okay,” Garten added.

Although Garten didn’t reveal her favorite In-N-Out order with the Today show, we’d like to think she’d order a double-double with fries — animal style. If you’re unfamiliar with the California chain’s menu, that’s an off-the-menu order: a double beef, double cheese burger with fried onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles and special sauce; and an order of fries smothered in special sauce and chopped fried onions.

If you're not near an In-N-Out — the fast food establishments are only in California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Texas and Utah — trust Ina that even a flight from New York to California would be worth it.
