Hillary Clinton is living her best life in India, with close confidant Huma Abedin and a group of friends by her side.
The ladies explored the ancient city of Mandu before the former secretary of state made an appearance at a local business conference this week.
While speaking at the small conference sponsored by India Today in Mumbai, Clinton took time to talk about her presidential loss, saying: “I win the coasts, I win Illinois, Minnesota, places like that, but what the map doesn’t show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s Gross Domestic Product.”
Taking a slight dig at President Donald Trump, Clinton added: “So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward. And his whole campaign – Make America Great Again was looking backwards.”
“Well, today I’m just enjoying the magnificent archaeological site and learning a lot of the Indian history because of this beautiful palace ground. I am very excited about being here and everything that I have seen,” Clinton told reporters as she exited Jahaz Mahal, which according to the Indian Express was built during the rule of Mandu Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din Khilji.
Clinton also took some time to hit the local shops, browsing the flagship store of Indian designer Payal Khandwala, according to the Daily Mail, where she was photographed with the designer. Clinton was also spotted taking photographs with Bollywood actresses Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan while on her visit. So yeah, she lost the election, but now at least she gets to act just like the rest of us while playing tourist around the globe.
