Housed in a 180-year-old mill in the village town of Woodstock, Shackleton Thomas sells handcrafted artisan goods, such as furniture and pottery, that all begins as locally sourced materials. Uniqueness is the trademark characteristic of every item, and no machinery is used in the construction of these home goods. Furniture maker Charles Shackleton honed his craft in Surrey, England, where he attended West Surrey School of Art & Design. Today, Charles runs the store with his wife, Miranda Thomas, and leads workshops, some of which include a tour of the forest where the wood for tables and chairs is harvested.
