Just west of Williamsburg’s main hipster drag of Bedford Avenue, this L-shaped bar and music venue blends left-bank Parisian and New York Bohemian sensibilities in a dark-yet-glittery interior that sports globe-shaped lamps suspended from an antique, tin ceiling; album-cover mosaics; multiple mirrors; and projected video art. Live concerts take place each night with particular attention to jazz and world music, while in between sets and shows, DJs spin classic vinyl. The café area serves French-style sandwiches, croissants, and tarts, and free trail mix is available at the bar.
