Operating out of a white smokehouse located in the Central Maine foothills just outside of North Anson, the Luce Family have been selling smoked beef, pork, and even venison for about 100 years. Of course, that would make them relative newcomers to smoked meat market, especially since the family's pure maple syrup enterprise has been around for well over 200 years. The Luce’s operation resides near Embden Pond and utilizes only Maine-grown animals. Travelers passing through the state in mid-September can also find Maine Farms Brand products well represented at the Common Ground Country Fair in Unity.
