Located in West Hollywood, this extended-stay boutique hotel is a mix of 36 studio, one- and two-bedroom guest suites and loft-style residences.

Plant-lined arches line the outside of this British-themed hotel, which is located just south of the Sunset Strip. The interior has gilded accents throughout, and all of the 223 suites have textured walls, flowing drapes, and mismatched lounge seating. No room is smaller than 750 square feet.

Housed in a converted apartment building, this all-suites hotel is located on a quiet side street just off the Sunset Strip.

Gorgeously revived in 2006 by hotelier Jeff Klein, this 1929 Art Deco landmark was once an apartment building to the stars (John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, and Frank Sinatra all had crash pads here).

Behind the Marmont’s lush, paparazzi-shielding hedges, discretion and privacy rule—a trait that has made it an infamous favorite of celebrities.

Known as the “Riot House” in the 1960’s and 70’s, this hotel was a notorious party spot for touring rock bands like Led Zeppelin, the Who, and the Rolling Stones.

Inside the 80-suite property, you’ll find handwoven Turkish carpets, Roman and Dutch tiling, and art from de Kooning and Rauschenberg on the hand-troweled walls. Upstairs, nearly every room is outfitted with a working fireplace and an updated kitchenette. The rooftop club is the real draw here.
