Hibiscus
London, England, W1S 2PA, United Kingdom
Originally opened in Ludlow in 1997, Hibiscus relocated to London in 2000 and is still collecting a sizable amount of buzz. The restaurant is the recipient of two Michelin stars, and with its menu of sophisticated French cuisine, the accolades are well deserved. Under the careful guidance of acclaimed chef Claude Bosi, the kitchen turns out such signature dishes as roast foie gras, roast cornish John Dory, and veal sweetbreads. The carefully selected wine list, chosen by Isabelle Legeron MW, France’s first female Master of Wine, includes a number of natural wines designed to pair perfectly with the restaurant’s French fare.
Insider Tip:
On Friday and Saturday evenings, chef Claude Bosi crafts unique tasting menus from fresh, seasonal produce. For an adventurous experience, opt for the Surprise Menu and let Bosi do his thing.
