Ceramica Artistica Solimene Vincenzo

Map
7 Via Madonna degli Angeli, Vietri sul Mare, 84019, Italy

The hand-painted floor tiles and ceramic plates decorating the hotels and restaurants along the coast come from the famous workshops of Vietri sul Mare, a suburb of Salerno at the east end of Amalfi Drive. You can’t miss the eye-popping, ceramic-clad façade of Ceramica Solimene, in the center of town, an internationally renowned purveyor of hand-painted plates and tiles since 1947 (though the Solimene family has been throwing pots in Vietri since the 19th century). Since taste is subjective, shoppers will want to check out the designs and styles at other top ceramics studios in town. Among the best are Ceramica Pinto and Avallone.
