The original Jewish Museum of Vienna was the first of its kind when it debuted in the late 19th century. Its contents would later be used for anti-Semitic propaganda, including a Nazi exhibit on "lost" Jewish culture. This Jewish museum was reconstituted in the 1950s and received a radical renovation in 2009. New director Danielle Spera, a former journalist, has brought in smart exhibits to the beautiful space.
