Don Mee Seafood Restaurant

538 Fisgard St.
Victoria, British Columbia, V8W 1R4, Canada
TEL: (250) 383-1032

Marked by a massive, three-dimensional sign out front, Don Mee Seafood Restaurant has been in Victoria's Chinatown for more than 80 years. The restaurant has a full menu of Cantonese, Szechuan, and Western-style dishes, such as shrimp sautéed with vegetables, customizable chow mein, and sizzling beef in black pepper sauce. But it's the authentic dim sum that has the most devoted following. At lunch, waitresses make the rounds in the dining room with carts filled with the Cantonese-style snacks. Options include such dishes as steamed chicken buns, spring rolls, barbecue pork buns, and crab claws.

Insider Tip:

This restaurant is in the heart of Victoria's revitalized Chinatown, which is the second oldest in the world, and it is located on the same block as Fan Tan Alley and The Gate of Harmonious Interest.
