Well-heeled tourists and visiting celebrities have been coming to Harry's Bar, a Venice institution, since Giuseppe Cipriani opened it right on the St. Mark's waterfront in 1931. Though dining in the home of the Bellini and beef carpaccio will be pricey, it's nearly negligent not to sink into one of the banquettes for a drink and an hour of truly good people-watching.
