The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is an interactive museum for children and their families that aims to provide children with a fun, educational experience and an understanding of our diverse world. To achieve this mission, the museum focuses its exhibits and programs on four main areas: early childhood, healthy life, creativity and world cultures. Exhibits range from PlayWorks, an interactive area geared toward newborns and children up to age four, to Gods, Myths and Mortals, an exhibit on ancient Greece for children six and older. The museum balances its exhibits with performances from professional dancers, Broadway stars and musicians.

Insider Tip:

The museum offers a number of programs and performances free with admission. Stop by the yellow visitor information desk to find out about the programs available during your visit.
