Union Square/Flatiron
Eleven Madison Park
New York, NY, 10010, United States
Art Deco-designed Eleven Madison Park in the Flatiron District offers a unique method of ordering food. Customers choose four principal ingredients from a list of 16 and then share their thoughts and preferences regarding the meal. From there, the chef takes control (as much or as little as you want), concocting a four-course, French-grounded menu for you. Surprise is the name of the game, and you never know what little bonuses you’ll get. It’s a method that has made the restaurant one of the darlings of the gourmand set, and like wine, only improving with age.
Insider Tip:
Coffee connoisseurs should ask for the Indie-roaster Intelligentsia. It’s siphon-made and involves performance art. Seeing is believing!
