The Turks and Caicos are a popular vacation destination for Americans, and the hotels on Providenciales can be pricey. There are stunning five-star resorts (some of the best in the Caribbean, like Amanyara and Parrot Cay), as well as the popular Grace Bay Club and Gansevoort Turks and Caicos. Most of the hotels operate on a condo system—the apartments and villas are rented out when the owners are not using them—and therefore are spacious and good for large groups and long-term stays. You’ll find full kitchens, laundry machines, and plenty of connecting rooms at properties like the Somerset on Grace Bay and the Palms. And while the majority of the hotels are along Grace Bay Beach, the Shore Club is the first to open on Long Bay Beach—great for those who prefer to avoid crowds and want to feel like they have the beach to themselves.
