Turks and Caicos
Ocean Club Resorts, Turks and Caicos
Turks and Caicos has long been one of the pricier destinations in the Caribbean, so the value-focused Ocean Club Resorts is a breath of fresh sea air. Set on a wide stretch of sugary sand along prime Grace Bay Beach, the reasonably priced suites all have seating areas and furnished balconies; some have kitchens and washers and dryers too. And other extras—poolside grills, free bicycles for exploring the island, access to the pools/restaurants at sister property Ocean Club West—add bang for your buck. Though the design feels a bit obvious (generic tropical art, palm tree prints), there’s a friendly barefoot vibe to the hotel, ideal for a pretense-free beachy getaway.
Room to Book:
Studio Deluxe suites are just a few dollars more than the basic Studio rooms and give you about 200 additional square feet of space.Insider Tip:
There seems to be an unspoken rule at this family-friendly resort that kids stick to the more raucous beachfront pool while grown-ups lounge by the quieter free-form garden pool.
