Far more spacious than the East Village original, the TriBeCa location of Terroir features a similar quirky wine list from sommelier Paul Grieco as well as chef Marco Canora's creative small plate menu. The brick-walled restaurant offers 65 seats, and bottles of wine line the walls, but the space exudes a fun, playful vibe (uncertain patrons are "encouraged" to sit and let the staff make selections for them) that's the anthesis of wine snobbery. The wine list includes 150 bottles of red, white, and sparkling, and several are available in three-ounce, by-the-glass servings. Food options range from crispy duck confit and frisée salad to lamb sausage with sage leaves to veal and ricotta meatballs.
Terroir Tribeca is within easy walking distance of the TriBeCa Performing Arts Center.
