Celebrity-chef Mark McEwan’s restaurant, Bymark, located in the atrium of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's sleek, glass and steel TD Centre, is widely regarded as one of Toronto’s top power-dining spots. Upstairs, a glass-enclosed bar area offers views of the surrounding towers, and the outdoor patio is a popular lunch spot during the warmer seasons. The subterranean dining room offers a contemporary Continental dishes and gourmet pub fare like a lobster grilled-cheese sandwich or the $35 house hamburger. Chef McEwan, the main judge of Canada’s Top Chef Show, is also known for his homemade ice cream dessert sandwich.
