Tokyo
Château Restaurant Joël Robuchon
Yebisu Garden Place
Tokyo, 153-0062, Japan
Amid a cluster of skyscrapers, a reproduction of a Loire Valley chateau houses French culinary star Joel Robuchon's Tokyo outpost. Inside, a marble-tiled foyer surrounds a spiral staircase leading to a dining room that's outfitted with crystal chandeliers, touches of gold, and royal purple walls and carpet. Over the course of his career, Robuchon has received more Michelin stars than any other chef, and this venue has earned three for its meticulously crafted French menu, which highlights Robouchon's cuisine actuelle approach, executed by partner chef Alain Verzeroli.
Insider Tip:
On your way out of the restaurant, you can pick up some take-home bread or treats at the bakery in the Chateau's basement.
