Escape the throngs of Ginza shoppers at this sleekly modern tearoom and shop. In the third-story tearoom, minimalist-white with skylights overhead, freshly whisked, bitter matcha green tea—the tea of traditional Japanese tea ceremonies—is served ceremonial-style with wagashi (small Japanese confections). If you enjoyed your tea, you can buy some to take home at the ground-floor retail shop. The second floor is a café that serves a variety of brewed teas.
