Built in 1862, the main farmhouse and surrounding cottages are classic Cape Dutch, with whitewashed walls, thatched roofs, and decorative gables. Inside, the 24 guest rooms blend original antiques with contemporary wooden furniture, and many have private patios facing the vineyards or gardens. The hotel also includes an 18-hole golf course and two restaurants: Catharina’s, which serves upscale South African cuisine, and the more casual Bistro Sixteen82, which has a wine tasting bar and an outdoor terrace.
