To reach the wilderness resort that defines the word “glamping” (or glamorous camping), guests fly in by floatplane and then travel on by horse and wagon to the camp. Twenty white, luxury tents are set in the backwoods of Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. All have cozy propane wood stoves, oil lamps, and candles, as well as furnishings like antique dressers and real China. Dine on West Coast cuisine, play pool in the games tent, or relax in a wood-fired hot tub. The resort provides outdoor gear to guests, such as rainwear, horse-riding boots, fishing tackle, and mountain bikes.
